WRITING CAMPS FOR ARTISTS & RECORDING

Bring your label, publisher or artist team to the coast. The Bath House is a Grade II seaside house designed for songwriting retreats, production bootcamps and sync-writing sessions—space to collaborate, break out and breathe, 100m from the beach.

WHY THE BATH HOUSE WORKS

  • Creative headspace by the sea; beach and promenade walks between sessions.

  • Big shared room + quiet breakouts: a 60×40 ft Great Room for co-writes, plus a hidden cinema for listening, edits and screenings.

  • Three studio setups across the property so A/B/C rooms can run in parallel.

  • Professional, respectful environment; not a late-night party venue.

INCLUDED STUDIO SETUPS (x3)

  • Nearfield monitors (paired, with isolation) on stands.

  • Audio interfaces (2–8 inputs), USB-C/USB-A leads.

  • MIDI keyboard/controllers (49/61-key available on request).

  • Microphones: large-diaphragm condenser + dynamic, with pop filters and shock mounts.

  • Closed-back headphones (producer + artist) with headphone amp/splitter.

  • Stands & cabling: boom stands, DI boxes, balanced XLR/TRS, power strips.

  • Vocal mix booth / portable isolation with reflection filter.

  • Desks/tables and supportive seating for long sessions.

  • Fast Wi-Fi and ample power in every room.

ACOUSTICS & ROOMS

High ceilings and textured surfaces give warm, naturally controlled acoustics. Portable treatment, rugs and gobos help tighten rooms for vocals and acoustic instruments. The cinema room offers an especially quiet, focused environment for lead vocal takes, comping and mix reviews.

ON-REQUEST GEAR & SERVICES

Tell us your rider—we’ll source additional equipment locally (subject to availability).

  • Extra interfaces, controllers, synths/drum machines; guitar/bass amps and pedals.

  • Mic locker upgrades (broadcast dynamics, tube condensers, matched SDC pairs).

  • Backline (electronic drum kit, percussion, keyboard stands, stools).

  • Cue system and talkback options for multi-room direction.

  • Engineer/tech support, runner, catering and grocery pre-stock.

HOW TEAMS USE THE HOUSE

  • Label & publisher camps: split into A/B/C rooms; end-of-day plays in the Great Room.

  • Artist development & pre-production: refine toplines, arrangements and show intros.

  • Sync sprints: tight turnarounds with a quiet review room for approvals.
